Lunario Media is a new digital company that aims to produce Latino programming for audiences seeking to make sense of an uncertain and changing world. Too many Latinos have been made to feel left out of mainstream American society and politics, and can be made to feel they aren’t getting the “full story” from mainstream media, including from traditional Spanish language TV. Bad actors exploit this disconnect, actively shaping new events and issues in harmful or misleading ways.
Our mission is to increase our sense of belonging through better engagement of our communities. In our initial stages, the content will be based largely in Spanish and exclusively on YouTube where research shows that Latinos spend twice as much time as non-Latinos do across all types of content, including news and education. We will take an iterative approach through cycles of experimentation — testing, learning, adapting, testing again — to create engaging, sticky and resonating content.
We’re looking for mission driven individuals that want to help us bring impactful media to Latino communities! Don't see a role that quite matches your skills, but you’re still interested in the engaging work that we're doing? Stay In Touch and be one of the first to hear about future opportunities. Upload your resume and any relevant information through our General Job Submission. We'll reach out when there's a new role that matches your skills and experience!
Remote (USA), with occasional domestic travel depending on role.
We offer fully remote roles (USA only). Competitive salary based on experience and expertise.
Please send your resume and cover letter via our application website. For your application to receive full consideration, please explain in your cover letter why you are interested in working at Lunario Media and how your background and/or experience demonstrate your commitment to Lunario’s core goal of increasing the Latino community's sense of belonging through content that better engages our community's issues.
